This seminar was organized by the request of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Iran in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In line with the Transport-Based Development (TOD) in Iran, 4 organizations of the country's municipalities and rural districts, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, and the Tehran Municipality were considered as target organizations. Among the main measures taken are:
• Collecting information about transport-based development projects and policies in Iran in order to prepare effective online content for JICA
• Collecting information about urban development policy measures regarding the promotion of transport-based development
• Supporting the finalization of the content of the online seminar with the assistance of Japanese consultants
• Effective and smooth holding of the online seminar in Tehran with the assistance of Japanese consultants
• Providing recommendations to JICA for further cooperation regarding the promotion of transport-based development in Iran through the information obtained in the online seminar with the assistance of Japanese consultants
